The School of Theatre, Film & Television is excited to see the incredible work that’ll debut on stage this week in Vaud, a fantastical production co-created by Wolfe Bowart and BA Theatre students. Prue Hammond, Vaud‘s costume designer and BFA Design Technology junior, discussed the show’s vibrant costumes in a story published today by the Daily Wildcat.
When creating the pieces for the show, Prue drew inspiration from the American Vaudeville Museum Archive at the University of Arizona Libraries and delved into TFTV’s costume vault to create feathered headdresses, a full horse costume, a stilt-walker and a three-legged man, among many others.
Read more about Prue’s design process and find out more about Vaud in the full story on The Daily Wildcat.
