Admissions – Prospective Students
Prospective UA students are incoming freshmen and students transferring from another institution, applying to the School of Theatre, Film & Television for their first semester at UA.

Request Information
The Bachelor of Arts in Live and Screened Performance (LSP) does NOT require a separate application to the major. Students interested in BA LSP need only complete the University of Arizona application, and select “Live and Screened Performance” as their chosen major. If you are accepted to UA, you may begin at UA as a student in BA LSP.
Select and complete the appropriate College of Fine Arts online application based on your incoming student status. Be sure to note the submission deadlines, which are the same as main campus.
Spring 2027:
December 1, 2026 for transfer students*
Fall 2027:
November 1, 2026 priority action deadline for main campus for first year students
May 1, 2027 for first year students
July 1, 2027 for transfer students*
Summer 2027:
May 1, 2027 for transfer students*

After applying to the University of Arizona you will receive an email that will alert you to apply to the College of Fine Arts. You will also have access to the application 24-72 hours after submitting your main campus application using your UA Future Page. Log into your UA Future page and click on “extended campus application or your main campus application,” which will bring you to your status page. Then click on supplemental applications for the College of Fine Arts and other options. - *Please note that transfer students are encouraged to apply early and submit transcripts as soon as possible, since transfer applications take longer to process than first year students.
- Please note that due to the winter closure applications will not be processed. Please wait for six weeks from the time of submission, if your letter of recommendation has been submitted. Our normal turn around time is about 30 days.
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE for Arizona Online students ONLY: Students interested in the BA Film & Television Online degree do not need to submit an additional application. You will be automatically admitted to that major should you select it.

Film and Television majors apply for entry into the BFA degree in Production following matriculation into the BA degree and completion of curriculum requirements, typically in the Fall sophomore year.
