Current Career News

E.E. Moe - producer/actor/director/playwright/arts management consultant/mentor and educator has worked in Los Angeles, New York, regional theatres, and as guest artist for touring productions. E.E. is Artistic Director/Co-Founder of the distinguished MEGAW Theatre—MEGAW Actors Studio, Inc.of CA/AZ, celebrated its 40th Year in 2014 years ago (and the memory of Founder Sydney May Morrison); an original founder Actor/Director of Arizona Theatre Company (ATC); alumnus/guest artist/ Director of Production for the UA; a presenter for many national organizations, arts management panels, international arts symposiums and KCACTF. Upon MA graduation, E.E. was hired by Dean Hull as Assistant to the Dean, Director/Concert Manager and Booking Agent for the UA Artist Series program. Some of E.E.’s Arizona directing credits include Arizona Jewish Theatre Co, Theatre Artists Studio, Desert Foothills Theatre, Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre, Theatre Out Back, University of Arizona, Invisible Theatre, ASU Lyric Opera Theatre, Arizona Theatre Co, and Scottsdale College SCC (Senior Lecture-current Artistic Director of Directing and Playwriting Showcases). She co-wrote TO FEED THEIR HOPES, AN AMERICAN CANTATA, a celebration of American women (NY, LA & Santa Barbara). She has numerous Arizona acting credits and was recently chosen as lead adjudicator for ATHE (Association for Theatre in Higher Education). Throughout her distinguished career, E.E. and The Megaw Theatre, Inc. artists earned LA Drama Critics, Drama-Logue, LA Reader, LA Weekly, Robby, LA Women in Theatre Lifetime Achievement honors, NY/LA Audience Awards, civic & arts education honors, among others, for over 150 productions. E.E.’s professional career reflects her lifelong dedication to developing artists in all mediums: MCCCD 2012 SCC Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Professor Award and 2008 MCCD Foundation Award for Mentorship in the Arts.
