Christopher Nataanii Cegielski (’16) lands exclusive commercial representation with Voyager

August 12, 2021

The University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film & Television congratulates alum Christopher Nataanii Cegielski (BFA, 2016) on joining the roster of Voyager for exclusive U.S. commercial representation. Voyager is an award-winning production company based in Brooklyn NY, producing content ranging from broadcast commercials and branded content to original documentaries and narratives.

Christopher has already wrapped his first production for the company – a spot for AriZona SunRise Hard Seltzer, a beverage born from a partnership between Heineken USA and AriZona. Watch it here.

Voyager EP Andrew Hutcheson said, “Whether he’s making a stirring, poetic anthem or a funky, offbeat comedy spot, Chris always taps into his cinematic sensibilities to create something that you can’t help but grin at. Behind it all is this hungry energy that’s constantly driving him forward. Couple that with his sincere humility and you’ve got the makings of someone truly special.”

“I’ve been a fan of Voyager’s work for a long time and in getting to know their philosophies, their culture and what kind of work they aspire to make,” said Christopher, “it felt like the perfect home to continue developing my artistic voice and pushing my work to the next level.”

This past summer, Christopher sat down with fellow alum Darious Britt (BFA, 2012) in our I Dream in Widescreen 2020 “New Voices” panel to discuss the challenges – and opportunities – that face new filmmakers in today’s entertainment landscape. Watch the segment at youtube.com/watch?v=aUY8M_4YBRw.
