Erin Roberts: is an actor, director, improvisor, and teacher and is very excited to join the LSP Faculty at the University of Arizona this fall. Formerly a professor and teaching artist, at Minneapolis College, Queens College, The Guthrie Theatre, Film North, and various other private studios. She has performed on stage and in film festivals, nationally and internationally and has garnered various awards including the following favorites: Best Actress/Katmandu Independent Film Festival 2022; Audience Choice/MN Webfest 2019; Audience Pick Award/MNFringe Festival 2018; Favorite Supporting Actor/NYIFringe Festival 2008. Erin has a BA in Directing from Smith College, an MFA in Acting from Penn State University, and has studied with The National Theatre Institute, The Royal Shakespeare Company and York University in Toronto. She is a co-founder of The De-escalation Team, a professional training company that provides safe and interactive role-play opportunities to practice nonviolent crisis intervention and conflict management strategies. Erin is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
