This annual event is a showcase of the outstanding research papers by our undergraduate students in both Theatre and Film & Television. The first day of the event begins with invited faculty from sister programs at other universities presenting keynote speeches about their work, highlighting the importance of research in the arts. The second and final day of the event gives sixteen finalists, selected from among our talented students, the opportunity to present their own papers in the beautifully restored Silver and Sage Room of Old Main. The symposium ends with the announcement of two student winners, one from each area, who are presented with a generous prize for their outstanding work.
