Christie Kerr is an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre in her fourth year at UA. Prior to this, she lived in Chicago, IL where she was an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College, Chicago. At UA, Christie has Directed and/or Choreographed ART’s productions of: Sister Act, Spring Awakening, The Pajama Game, The Addams Family, Evita and Hands on a Hardbody and Encore. She has worked throughout the country as a Director, Choreographer and Performer. Select Directing/Choreography credits include: A Chorus Line, Crazy For You, West Side Story, Spamalot, 42nd Street, Into the Woodsand The Drowsy Chaperone. Select theatres include: Porchlight, Little Theatre on the Square, Theatre at the Center, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Fox Valley Rep, Metropolis, BoHo, Theo Ubique, Williams Street Rep, and Prather Entertainment Group. A graduate of The University of Michigan, Christie holds a BFA Degree in Musical Theatre Performance and is a proud member of SDC.
